HOOTS GROUND AVIATORS 12-3

by Tom Callahan

COLUMBUS, GA - William Turner pitched four innings of scoreless two-hit baseball while the Columbus Chatt-a-Hoots offense exploded in a 12-3 win over the Alpharetta Aviators on Friday night at Golden Park.

Turner struck out six and walked only one on his way to the win, which was never in doubt as the Chatt-a-Hoots scored two runs in the first, three in the second and fourth, and then tacked on one more in the seventh and three in the eighth for the win.

Connor O’Neal was three-for-three with a home run, three RBIs and two walks, while Sean Darnell finished 3-for-4 with two RBIs.

The same two teams are right back on the field Saturday night at 7:05 pm. Tickets are on sale now through the Chatt-a-Hoots office by calling (706) 507-4625 or online at GoHoots.com.
