HOOTS SWEEP WEEKEND SERIES FROM AVIATORS
COLUMBUS, GA - The Columbus Chatt-a-Hoots piled up the runs as they beat the Alpharetta Aviators 11-5 to sweep the weekend series.
Connor O’Neal stayed hot, going 3-for-3 while Walt McConnell went 2-for-3 with 3 RBIs. Colton Masse hit his first home run of the year with a two-run shot to right in the fifth inning.
Brian Trepanier recorded the win in four innings of work, giving up three hits and four runs (three earned) with four walks and six strikeouts. Andrew Fry took the loss.
The Chatt-a-Hoots will now break for the SunBelt Baseball League All-Star Game, and get back to action next Friday, June 30 when they host the Waleska Wild Things at 7:05 pm. Tickets are on sale now through the team website at GoHoots.com.
