HOOTS TOP BUCKS 5-2 IN MAKEUP GAME

BROOKHAVEN, GA - The Columbus Chatt-a-Hoots beat the Brookhaven Bucks 5-2 in a makeup game played Thursday night.

Parker Lester continued his torrid pace on the season, going 2-for-3 with two RBIs and two runs scored on the night. Reigning SunBelt League Player of the Week Connor O'Neal went 1-for-3 with an RBI and a walk, while Zane Ross and Jake Courville also added RBIs in the game.

Luke Norman pitched a perfect seventh inning to get the win, striking out the side. Ashton Shackelford notched the same, also pitching a perfect ninth and striking out the side to wrap up the win.

The Hoots are back in action Friday and Saturday night at Historic Golden Park against the Waleska Wild Things at 7:05 pm. Tickets are on sale now through GoHoots.com for all remaining home games.
