HOOTS WIN SUNBELT LEAGUE REGULAR SEASON CHAMPIONSHIP

With the Chattahoochee Monsters sweeping both games of the team's doubleheader against the Gainesville Gol'Diggers on Sunday, the Columbus Chatt-a-Hoots wins the SunBelt Baseball League regular season title with a record of 21-7.

The result marks the first time in franchise history the Hoots have won a regular season title. It also gives the Hoots home field for all playoff series.

Columbus will host either the Monsters or Atlanta Crackers on Friday night at Golden Park. First pitch is slated for 7:05 pm. Ticket information will be posted as soon as it becomes available on GoHoots.com.
