Meet the 2022 Columbus Chatt-a-Hoots!

With the Sunbelt Baseball League season (and exhibition games this Saturday and Sunday) right around the corner. It's time to introduce the full roster of the 2022 Chatt-a-Hoots.

From the 2021 team that made the championship series against the Alpharetta Aviators, 10 players and four coaches return for another season with the Hoots. Steve Smith returns to manage the campaign alongside base coaches Rodney Rutherford and McLendon Hill. Howie Shackelford returns as an assistant coach, and Brett Bowers joins the staff as an assistant coach for his first season with the Hoots.

Among returning players, four pitchers and two each of catchers, infielders and outfielders will suit up for the Hoots again this season. Notable names in the field include Jesse Donohoe, Conner O'Neal and Cameron Gray (late arrival due to college team obligations). On the hill, the fanbase will see familiar faces in Logan Seehafer, Clay Weatherly, Brian Trepanier and Ryan Middleton returning this season.
