Columbus, GA - The Sunbelt Baseball League are proud to announce details for the SBL All-Star game to be played July 14, 2021, at Historic Golden Park the home of the Columbus Chatt-a-Hoots.

The Sunbelt Baseball League will field a team of 26 players from its eight member teams to play against a selects team from the Florida Collegiate Summer League (FCSL) in a 9-inning game.

The Sunbelt League was founded in 2005, and currently is comprised of eight Georgia-based teams, mostly hubbed in the Metro-Atlanta area. The FCSL was founded in 2003 and is currently made up of 6 teams from the metro-Orlando area.

"We're very excited to be playing this game at Golden Park with our friends at the FCSL" SBL commissioner Todd Pratt said. "This is a series that is historic and it should be a lot of fun to play the Florida League again and see the best players each of our leagues have to offer in action."

Both team rosters are TBD and will be selected by the league offices based on each individual team’s top prospects for the season. Each league will announce its teams separately through its respective channels as the game gets closer.

The game between the SBL and FCSL will re-ignite a series between the two leagues that was last played in 2019 as part of a prospect showcase. In that game, the SBL came away with a 4-2 victory thanks to hitting from Jabronski Williams (Gwinnett Tides), Andrew Jenkins (Brookhaven Bucks) and Mykel Page (Alpharetta Aviators) in the 9th inning, followed by a 1-2-3 bottom of the 9th to earn Greg Elder (Atlanta Crackers) a save.
