2022-23 FPHL Broadcaster of the Year
Callahan is excited to call a full season of baseball for the first time since serving as the voice of the Elmira Pioneers in the Northern Independent League. In the interim, he has served as a fill-in at several levels including the AAA Nashville Sounds.
When not calling games, Callahan has also served as an official scorer for the Augusta GreenJackets as well as doing PA and stadium hosting duties at several levels including for the Sounds. One of those stops as the PA announcer for the Peoria Chiefs led to him handling the public address duties for the Chiefs' first-ever "home game" at Wrigley Field in 2008.
A big fan of baseball history, Callahan enjoys books written by and about baseball legends as well as documentaries on the game.
His other credits include talk hosting with ESPN Nashville, serving as a playoff correspondent with NHL Network, and play-by-play with the NHL's Nashville Predators.
